About the Role

Real Sports Apparel is seeking a dedicated and responsible Keyholder to join our team on a part-time basis. The Keyholder will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the store management team. This position requires a reliable individual who can handle opening and closing duties, manage cash transactions, and assist with inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including securing the store and ensuring the store is ready for business.
  • Ensure that all systems are functioning properly at the start and end of the day.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their purchases, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in achieving sales targets by promoting products, upselling, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Support inventory control efforts by conducting regular stock checks, organizing merchandise, and assisting with inventory counts.
  • Work closely with the store management team to ensure smooth operations and provide support as needed.
  • Oversee store operations in the absence of management, ensuring staff are performing duties correctly and efficiently.
  • Create professional relationships with PT Sales Associates and lead by example.
  • Manage PT staff to ensure the sales floor is well operated and customers are being helped.
  • Ensure the security of the store by monitoring customer activity, preventing theft, and maintaining a safe shopping environment.
  • Manage transactions accurately, including processing sales, handling returns, and having strong knowledge of the POS system.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including merchandising displays and stockroom organization.
  • Ensure that merchandise is restocked and organized.

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or keyholder role.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry merchandise as needed.
