About the Role
CMC Markets seeks a skilled Financial Risk Manager with Futures & Options experience to ensure financial risks are captured, reported, and scrutinized efficiently. This new role focuses on Futures & Options products, assisting in reporting and ongoing monitoring for both financial and liquidity risk management.
Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and report various risk metrics, ensuring breaches are appropriately handled.
- Perform daily interrogation, interpretation, and reporting of stress testing.
- Drive the development of reporting for market, credit counterparty, and liquidity risk.
- Promote and raise awareness of Financial Risk Management (FRM) to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and process of the Group’s ICARA review.
- Produce monthly board-level management information on Group financial risks.
- Represent Financial Risk in Group projects and ensure team delivery objectives.
- Understand all existing and new CMC Markets products and their capture/reporting by the Financial Risk Management team.
- Maintain personal and professional development, including regulatory and legislative training.
- Provide clear, fair, and consistent service to customers, clients, and colleagues.
- Ensure appropriate confidentiality.
- Undertake other reasonable duties, training, and hours as required.
Requirements
- Prior experience in exchange traded and OTC derivatives (futures and options).
- Highly numerical with strong attention to detail.
- Curious and inquisitive approach.
- Organized and able to manage time efficiently.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize accordingly.
