About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at the highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch, a landmark luxury hotel opening later this year. The hotel will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites, two signature restaurants by world-renowned chefs, a world-class spa, fitness facilities, and grand event spaces.
Responsibilities
- Deliver refined Front Office services ensuring a seamless and exceptional Guest journey from arrival through departure, including audit procedures.
- Perform all responsibilities with the utmost professionalism, precision, and adherence to luxury service standards.
- Resolve Guest enquiries promptly and effectively, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Deliver a seamless and efficient reception experience, including check-in, check-out, and audit procedures.
- Ensure the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are fully informed of relevant Guest feedback and interdepartmental communications.
- Consistently demonstrate warm, attentive, and anticipatory Guest service.
- Participate in required training initiatives and support the development of the Night Team.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and hotel offerings.
- Maximize room occupancy through refined upselling and personalized promotion of hotel services and facilities.
- Process foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash accurately and in strict adherence to the hotel’s credit and financial policies.
- Comply fully with hotel security protocols, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
- Operate Front Office systems and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Uphold company brand standards consistently across all Guest interactions.
- Support other hotel departments as required to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-focused or service-driven environment.
- Completion of secondary education or equivalent.
- A positive, composed, and professional attitude with clear communication skills.
- A strong commitment to delivering elevated levels of Guest service.
- Impeccable grooming, presentation, and personal conduct.
- The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Competent IT proficiency across standard office and Front Office systems.
- Previous experience handling cash or managing financial transactions is advantageous.
- Prior experience within a luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality or service-led environment is highly desirable.
