About the Role
An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our Merrylands centre on a casual basis, with the flexibility to support neighbouring Western Sydney centres too. Our modern 3-chair practice offers a wide range of dental treatments, and you’ll join caring, community-minded teams focused on outstanding patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide chair-side assistance.
- Perform sterilisation duties.
- Handle reception tasks.
- Support implant procedures.
- Assist with general anaesthesia (GA) cases.
- Contribute to complex surgical work.
- Maintain sterilisation and infection control protocols.
- Deliver outstanding patient experiences.
- Support additional shifts at neighbouring centres.
Requirements
- Experience as a Dental Assistant across chair-side, sterilisation and reception.
- Prior experience with implants, GA and complex surgical work.
- Strong understanding of sterilisation and infection control protocols.
- A caring, team-focused approach to patient care.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a desire for high standards.
- Availability for a Thursday late close (7:15pm) is essential.
- Minimum of 3 weekdays' availability overall.
- Weekend availability is essential.
