About the Role
HUB24 is seeking a Risk and Compliance Manager to join their Risk team. This Line 2 Risk role will provide independent risk and compliance advice, enhance frameworks, support decision-making, and ensure regulatory compliance to help achieve strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide risk and compliance advice across a broad range of risk classes.
- Partner with business leaders to support effective risk-based decision making.
- Enhance and maintain risk and compliance frameworks, policies and practices.
- Support risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting activities.
- Contribute to Board, Executive and Risk Committee reporting.
- Build strong relationships across the business to embed risk culture and accountability.
- Deliver risk and compliance training and awareness initiatives.
- Support the ongoing maturity of HUB24's three lines of accountability model.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in law, finance, business or a related discipline.
- Experience in risk, compliance or governance within financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial services regulatory obligations.
- Exposure to managed investment schemes, wrap/platform products, superannuation or financial advice environments.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship management skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
