About the Role
As a Data Scientist Associate, you will work with cross-functional teams to leverage model solutions to solve complex business problems. You will use your skills to identify the best algorithm or model to solve the problem at hand and have the autonomy to take ownership and lead an end-to-end project, from problem identification to solution deployment.
Responsibilities
- Using Python and PySpark to analyze millions of transactions to understand and predict fraud patterns
- Exploring new proprietary data sources
- Applying machine learning techniques to build models that predict customer behaviour
- Design and develop data pipelines and visualizations to monitor model performance and data quality
Requirements
- Will have obtained a Bachelor’s degree or higher in 2027.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline with a strong coding background
- Experience using Python
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Experience in a Linux environment
- Experience using Git or other version control systems
- Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
