About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager leads enterprise marketing technology adoption and marketing operations for email, app notification, and SMS initiatives to enhance customer engagement and organizational effectiveness. This role drives change management, stakeholder engagement, training, and communications strategies for key marketing platforms like AEM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketing Hub, and Amazon SES. The manager ensures successful adoption, operational readiness, and governance while overseeing enterprise email marketing operations, agency partnerships, and execution standards.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements communications and outreach strategies tailored for target audiences, digital channels, and strategic objectives.
  • Manages the organization's digital properties and supports the strategic direction of digital platforms.
  • Optimizes online channels against key performance indicators and makes data-informed decisions.
  • Oversees content creation for various digital platforms and leads efforts to identify and document campaign strategies.
  • Provides analyses and recommendations on digital strategies that align with organizational initiatives and goals.
  • Designs campaigns to meet specific and varied business unit objectives and tracks performance, implementing necessary changes.
  • Develops and executes digital marketing strategies to increase organizational brand equity and build affinity and engagement.
  • Builds and manages strategic partnerships across the enterprise to enhance business unit effectiveness on digital and social channels.
  • Tracks and measures results and KPIs and adjusts tactics accordingly.
  • Keeps abreast of the latest digital trends and best practices to inform digital marketing strategies and aid internal knowledge sharing.
  • Provides exceptional client service by developing timelines to meet project commitments and ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal clients, understanding their objectives, and developing plans to achieve them across channels.
  • Proactively surfaces new opportunities and productively resolves challenges.
  • Identifies vendors best suited to advance organizational goals and proactively manages vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Information Systems, or other related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, marketing technology, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in email and/or SMS marketing operations or digital agency supporting email or SMS.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale marketing technology implementations, transformations, or adoption initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise marketing platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketing Hub, Amazon SES, or similar solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute communication, training, and enablement strategies that drive user adoption and operational readiness across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing enterprise email marketing operations, including governance, campaign execution standards, vendor/agency management, and performance oversight.
  • Formal training or certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) and/or project management frameworks.
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization and influencing senior leaders, business stakeholders, and technology teams.
  • Regular and reliable job attendance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit respect and understanding of others to maintain professional relationships.
  • Independent judgment in evaluation options to make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in an in-office/open office environment with moderate noise.
