About the Role
AIT Home Delivery seeks dedicated owner-operators with 24-26’ box trucks (with lift gate) for home delivery and light setup of various consumer goods, including furniture, televisions, outdoor furniture, and fitness equipment.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of boxed furniture
- Delivery of televisions
- Delivery of outdoor furniture
- Delivery of fitness equipment
- Delivery of other related miscellaneous products
- Light setup of delivered products
Requirements
- Must own or lease a 24-26ft box truck with lift gate
- Must have a reliable helper (two-man teams required)
- Must own hand and power tools
- Must have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
- Must have an EIN (federal tax ID)
- Must comply with insurance and vehicle registrations
- DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
- Must comply with state laws for the vehicle being used
- Must pass background and drug screens (contractor and helper)
- Must pass MVR checks (driving contractors)
- Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service
- Must be tech-savvy with a mobile phone
- Must possess excellent communication skills
