About the Role
As a Principal Forward Deployed Architect, you will be the trusted technical owner responsible for transforming ambitious Gemini Enterprise visions into lasting business outcomes. You will own the entire technical solution, including the GenAI platform foundation on Google Cloud, the agent landscape built on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP), the context-graph and data foundation, and the enterprise rollout. You will serve as the senior technical counterpart to client executives, guiding them from initial concept to successful implementation and ensuring the Google Cloud AI foundation delivers tangible results. This role is crucial for establishing production agent ecosystems on GEAP, addressing complex interdependencies between model choice, agents, grounding, governance, and change management.
Responsibilities
- Own the target architecture across four layers: GCP GenAI platform foundation, GEAP agent landscape, context-graph/data foundation, and enterprise adoption, sequencing delivery across all.
- Set reference patterns for agent construction, deployment, isolation, and governance.
- Design the context-graph foundation (BigQuery, BigQuery graph, Spanner Graph) and grounding/RAG strategy, including entity resolution, semantic modeling, and retrieval over Vertex AI Vector Search.
- Identify and resolve inter-layer dependencies before delivery commitments.
- Arbitrate cross-track trade-offs with written rationale when multiple Forward Deployed Engineers are assigned to the same client.
- Maintain technical proximity by reviewing agent designs, evaluation results, interrogating performance, participating in incident reviews, and performing selective hands-on work.
- Represent AuxoAI in client security, compliance, and architecture review boards, including model and data governance forums.
- Advise client executives on trade-offs, sequencing, delivery risk, and appropriate use cases for automation.
- Own the technical scope, estimate, and defense of proposals and statements of work for major Gemini Enterprise opportunities.
- Provide accurate readouts on delivery risk, remediation plans, and consumption-cost exposure to Auxo AI leadership.
- Enable client leadership to operate and extend the agent landscape and context graph.
- Develop Forward Deployed Engineers working on the account.
- Contribute GEAP reference architectures, context-graph patterns, estimation models, and governance blueprints to enhance practice standards.
- Be accountable for the outcome and long-term success of the client's agent ecosystem, ensuring it remains grounded, governed, evaluated, and adopted.
- Own the explanation and remediation plan for any regressions, data leaks, policy breaches, or user adoption issues within the agent ecosystem.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years in engineering, architecture, or technical delivery leadership, including senior technical ownership of production systems.
- Expert depth in at least two of the following areas: agent/GenAI platform layer, context-graph and semantic-modeling layer, cloud data-platform layer, or cloud runtime/governance layer, with working competence across the others.
- Delivered at least one production GenAI or agent system on GCP (Vertex AI/Agent Platform) or a comparable cloud, including grounding over an enterprise data or knowledge foundation.
- End-to-end technical design ownership for at least two client engagements or major cross-team programs, from discovery through production.
- Experience as the sole senior technical counterpart to a client's executive team on a significant engagement.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery and at least one graph or semantic store (Spanner Graph, BigQuery graph, Neo4j, or equivalent).
- Experience delivering within at least one regulated environment, with the ability to describe design decisions influenced by regulation.
- Experience owning the technical scope, estimate, and defense of a proposal or statement of work.
- Hands-on experience with the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (ADK, Agent Garden, Model Garden, Agent Engine) or a rapid, demonstrable path to proficiency from adjacent agent frameworks.
