About the Role
This role will see you enhance your capabilities and the reputation of WSP’s Building Structures group. You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.
Responsibilities
- Have the opportunity to work on iconic projects within a multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver a range of civil engineering design projects
- Support the wider team and other teams within the company nationally when the opportunity presents
- Carry out assigned project and 12D design work as part of an integral team adhering to technical and commercial standards
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be committed to team approach and outcomes
- Provide ongoing continuous improvement and development inputs to create more efficient workflows within the team
- Develop your professional network (locally, nationally and globally) through various initiatives.
- Develop your personal brand through targeted training.
- Develop your business understanding and awareness through various procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor to Masters’ level degree (Civil/Structural Engineering)
- 2-5 years industry experience
- Demonstrated experience working on Australian projects within the Building and Property sector would be beneficial
- Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Sound working knowledge of relevant local Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.)
- Practical experience using 12D
- Experience with Earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage and utilities
- Experience with executing BIM and 3D modelling project delivery methods
- Familiarity with working with point cloud surveys would be highly regarded
- Able to work remotely on client’s sites liaising directly with the client to deliver the most appropriate engineering solution
