About the Role

The Harry Walker Agency, a business unit of WME, seeks a smart and motivated Contracts Administrator to join its Business Affairs Department. This role provides organizational and administrative support to the business affairs team, drafts and negotiates contracts for high-profile individuals, and manages a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team work flow, meetings, record keeping, deal tracking and documentation with BA executives.
  • Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.
  • Draft contracts between speakers, the agency and hosting organizations.
  • Process contract edits and revisions in a time-sensitive and professional manner.
  • Manage and prioritize assignments, using CRM for detailed records and following team processes.
  • Communicate internally with team managers, sales agents, and talent managers.
  • Communicate with host organizations, including domestic and international corporations, non-profits, trade associations, and institutions of higher learning.
  • Perform special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated interest in the entertainment industry and/or as a legal assistant, paralegal or contracts professional.
  • Strong desire to work in the entertainment industry.
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Solutions-focused with a strong work ethic and drive to learn and contribute.
  • Upbeat, positive, communicative team-player with a no-nonsense approach to work.
