About the Role

This internship position is in the Analytical Department (PTDA within Pharma Technical Development Organization) with a Digital Sciences focus. Interns will leverage programming skills to contribute to digital projects, such as full-stack software applications and data science models, impacting the entire PTD organization. Projects aim to enable greater insights from data, more innovative drug development, and faster delivery of medicines to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build automated data processing workflows and comprehensive visualization dashboards to analyze complex mass spectrometry data.
  • Conduct data-driven analyses by digital tools to benchmark and quantify performance metrics across advanced mass spectrometry platforms.
  • Develop in-house data extraction, processing, and visualization tools to increase throughput for mass spectrometry related data.
  • Create and implement information databases and standardized operational guidelines through rigorous data analysis.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).
  • Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program).
  • Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).
  • Must have attained a Master's Degree.
  • Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student).
  • Must have attained a PhD.
  • Pursuing or attained a degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biophysics, or related disciplines.
  • Ability to show a high degree of adaptive capacity.
  • Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and self-directed individual excited about tackling complex and creative scientific challenges in an industrial setting.
