About the Role
This on-site, contract position offers an associate-level CRNA the opportunity to deliver high-quality anesthesia care and collaborate with healthcare professionals in a dynamic Medical Practice environment. As a Locum CRNA, you will support surgical and anesthetic procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures
- Perform thorough preoperative patient assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective care
- Document patient responses, anesthesia techniques, and outcomes accurately
- Provide post-anesthesia care and support during recovery
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement appropriate interventions
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative expectations
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care within the department
Requirements
- Current CRNA certification from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Active and unrestricted registered nurse (RN) licensure
- Associate-level experience in nurse anesthesia or comparable clinical practice
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and patient monitoring
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must be board-certified
