About the Role
The CPFR Analyst is responsible for demand forecasting and inventory management to meet customer goals for productive inventory and service levels for their assigned LG product portfolio. This role ensures consensus plans for continuous product supply meet marketplace requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform customer-level planning at national, DC, and store levels, creating inventory and demand analysis weekly.
- Analyze sell-in and sell-out forecasting trends and align future demand with market conditions.
- Develop forecasts, track, and recap promotional events.
- Review current inventory levels and adjust supply plans to align with target channel inventory.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to plan New Product Introductions and End of Line products.
- Maintain channel service level and inventory management goals.
- Collaborate with logistics to ensure transparent operations and performing supply lines.
- Monitor and report on performance scorecards weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Execute value-added services to drive competitive advantage and improved effectiveness.
- Execute flexible, low-cost supply chain options to lower cost-to-serve.
- Troubleshoot coverage plans and supply disruptions on an ongoing basis.
- Review forecasting, sales capability, and Inventory KPIs for alignment with business requirements.
- Provide progress and improvement updates within the planning organization for scalable and sustainable efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or another relevant discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand/Supply Planning, or Retail Planning.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- CPIM (APICS) certification is an asset.
- Must obtain any necessary work permits/visas or other authorizations to legally work in Canada prior to employment.
