About the Role
This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for an associate-level professional to provide high-quality anesthesia care in a collaborative healthcare environment. You will be an integral part of our surgical team, ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures. As a CRNA, you will manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical and diagnostic cases, working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff. Your expertise will directly contribute to positive patient outcomes and a smooth perioperative experience. We value precision, compassion, and a patient-first approach, and we are looking for a candidate who shares these principles.
Responsibilities
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient history and medical status.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures.
- Manage airway and ventilation, and respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.
- Document anesthesia care accurately and thoroughly in patient records.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and support patients during recovery, managing pain and side effects.
- Ensure all anesthesia equipment is properly maintained, tested, and ready for use.
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative expectations.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program (CRNA certification required or eligible).
- Associate-level experience in anesthesia practice preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and patient monitoring.
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for working with patients and care teams.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work flexible full-time, on-site schedules, including call coverage as needed.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with anesthesia best practices.
- Must be board-certified.
