About the Role
We are a small, forward-thinking research group within a network device manufacturer, responsible for shaping the vision and implementation of AI-powered capabilities across our product portfolio. We're looking for a mid-level software developer who is passionate about applied AI and wants to work on problems that sit at the intersection of intelligent systems and real-world networking infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to building and maintaining agentic AI workflows using LangGraph.
- Design and extend our growing library of MCP servers.
- Improve the RAG pipelines that power our knowledge-retrieval systems.
- Work closely with a tight-knit team where your ideas carry weight and your contributions are visible.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of software development experience with strong Python fundamentals.
- Hands-on familiarity with at least some of the AI/ML tooling landscape (LLM APIs, vector stores, retrieval-augmented generation patterns, or agent frameworks).
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Ability to move fluidly between prototyping and production-quality code.
- Curiosity about networking or enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning it is.
- Clear thinkers who communicate well in a small-team environment are valued over specialists with narrow credentials.
