About the Role
This position is responsible for managing the administration and compliance of asset-level project financing agreements for a specific geographic region of Pattern’s operating asset fleet. The role will be a founding member of the new regional financial organization and will contribute to building a culture of operational excellence across Pattern’s fleet.
Responsibilities
- Primary ownership of project financing administration and compliance, including internal and external financing counterparty administrative relationships.
- Contribute to successful closing of project financing transactions.
- Manage counterparty consents, amendments, and waivers.
- Monitor and report externally on asset financial performance.
- Perform financial and contractual analysis, forecast project cash, and advise on project cash distributions.
- Execute management reporting and external reporting deliverables.
- Contribute to the cross-functional team responsible for strategic evaluation and value optimization for a portfolio of operating assets.
- Use asset administration platform to monitor potential value improvements: cash optimization, 3rd-party tax equity and debt investment improvements, project purchase options, enhancements such as refinancings, LC and swaps rotations.
- Drive value through project administration improvements: work-flow automation, ERP integration, management reporting, and compliance processes.
- Provide transaction administration support during PF closings and restructurings.
- Oversee and ensure compliance of in-place project financing facilities.
- Provide internal management reporting.
- Optimize portfolio value through improvements in administration platform function and/or assessing opportunities for improvement in project financings.
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years relevant work experience, including portfolio management, contracts, finance, energy, banking, asset management, tax, and/or project management.
- Exceptional analytical skills and understanding of financial administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment where teamwork and independent work ethic are essential.
