About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess a strong human resources generalist foundation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong organizational abilities. This role requires strategic thinking to effectively deliver People and Impact Team programs and services while managing day-to-day HR responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a solid understanding of client groups and the fund administration business to build effective working relationships.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for employee and manager questions and inquiries.
- Manage daily HR operations for assigned client groups across the employee lifecycle.
- Provide support and guidance on employee relations issues, including investigations.
- Guide leaders on all aspects of performance management, including annual performance appraisals, goal setting, and compensation planning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize legal risks.
- Conduct onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire orientation and exit interviews.
- Review and document standard operating processes in conjunction with leadership.
- Support employee engagement and staff wellness initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional People and Impact Team members on various projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a professional services environment.
- Strong background in employee relations.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to recognize and shift priorities proactively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and communicate gathered data.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of UKG/UltiPro and Monday.com.
- Solid Microsoft Office application knowledge, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
