About the Role
Using discretion and judgment, researches specified industries or global regions to develop specific company and stock recommendations for the portfolios managed by MFS.
Responsibilities
- Independently conducts research in assigned area to develop specific company and stock recommendations for the portfolios managed by MFS.
- Structures, develops, and communicates investment recommendations using research sources such as company literature, financial statements, and business publications.
- Attends conferences, travels to company facilities, and interviews corporate management.
- Acts as the in-house expert on the designated area of coverage.
- Makes final buy and sell decisions, ensuring timely and orderly trade execution and overseeing sector construction.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of relevant Equity Research experience.
- Ability to travel frequently.
- Ability to work and think independently.
- Strong numerical and communication skills.
