About the Role
Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is seeking Massage Therapists to join their spa therapy team. This role involves providing high-standard treatments to help guests rest, relax, and regain balance. The position offers the structure and benefits of working with a hotel company in a beautiful resort setting.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the spa therapy team to provide the highest standard of treatment, creating a sensory journey for guests.
- Set up treatment rooms according to procedures and dispose of laundry timely.
- Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state board guidelines.
- Ensure professional stock is used in compliance with PAR levels to reduce product waste.
- Begin and end treatments at the published time and ensure correct procedures are followed.
- Encourage upgrades and produce a minimum of 10% in retail sales per day/week/month.
Requirements
- On-call associates must be able to work 2 shifts per month to maintain employment.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
- Ability to maintain compliance with State Board sanitation/sterilization procedures.
- Responsible and dependable with the ability to fulfill on-call scheduling needs.
- Commitment to exceeding customer expectations with strong attention to client needs.
- Ability to work well under pressure, managing back-to-back appointments in a high-volume environment.
- Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds with frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting.
- Stand and/or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Requires repetitive motion with consistent use of hands and arms.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including being on call for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Skills
- Proficient skills in traditional and modern forms of massage.
