About the Role
The Site Engineer will own the microturbine installation program at a site level, managing turbine placement, infrastructure needs, and alignment with electrical and pipeline connections. This role involves defining and executing the installation plan from start to finish, bridging the gap between turbine requirements and site capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own how the first microturbine installation fits together at a site level.
- Determine turbine locations.
- Assess the need for concrete pads.
- Plan transformer placement.
- Ensure turbines align with electrical and pipeline connections.
- Translate turbine needs, site conditions, and construction requirements.
- Define the installation plan.
- Ensure the installation plan is viable during on-site execution.
Requirements
- Experience with systems integration on complex industrial or power generation equipment.
- Experience in site planning, balance-of-plant, or similar roles.
- Ability to coordinate mechanical, electrical, and civil scope.
- Preference for on-site assessment over solely working from drawings.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving conflicts between different plans before they impact field operations.

- $150,000 to $200,000 base
