About the Role
CC&LFG is seeking a Trade Support Analyst to join their Trade Support team. This role offers a chance to work in a global trade operations environment, support Portfolio Managers, and contribute to a collaborative, solution-oriented team culture.
Responsibilities
- Support Fixed Income Portfolio Managers and Trade desks in execution, processing, and settlement of debt securities, money market, Derivatives, and Foreign Exchange.
- Cover transactions for pooled fund offerings and segregated client mandates.
- Ensure efficient trading within tight deadlines in collaboration with Trade Desks.
- Onboard new accounts, products, and counterparties in relevant internal systems.
- Manage custodian and broker relationships to ensure timely settlement.
- Collaborate with systems and technology teams to automate and improve processes using new technology.
- Maintain and improve Trade Support processes, systems, and data to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
Requirements
- 2+ years of trade operations experience within Asset Management or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Resourcefulness and ability to resolve complex problems quickly.
- Passion for learning and a curiosity to understand the 'why'.
