About the Role
Two Six Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Front End Engineer to work on multi-domain platforms serving critical national security functions using cutting-edge modern frameworks. Join our team to solve hard problems in large-scale data investigation and analysis, real-time collaboration, task and resource planning and coordination, and high-dimensional data summarization and visualization allowing lay persons to easily answer complex questions.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement UI framework pieces composed of reusable components to support rapid development of new features
- Work closely with design and other leads to implement detailed designs
- Be comfortable developing full sections of functionality given broad requirements, including identifying and handling of edge cases and error states
- Provide technical direction and mentoring to developers, including one-on-one time to educate and ensure success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years practical experience in software engineering. In lieu of degree, comparable experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience with component-based frameworks, e.g. Vue, Ember, React, and/or Angular
- 4+ years of experience developing responsive web applications
- 2+ years of experience as tech lead for an agile development team
- Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience developing with AI coding tools
- Experience with build tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite)
- Experience working with UI/UX Designers and Product Managers to meet customer requirements
- Experience using Git and Jira (or similar tooling) in a development workflow
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a government security clearance up to TS/SCI
