About the Role
KEYE has an immediate opening for a creative News Producer responsible for the day-to-day production of newscasts and multiplatform content. This position will work closely with the Executive Producer, Assignment Desk, Production, and Anchors to determine content and flow, generate and write stories, and develop content for digital platforms.

- Responsible for the day-to-day production of newscasts and multiplatform content
- Work closely with the Executive Producer, Assignment Desk, Production, and Anchors on the newscast and its content
- Determine the content and flow of newscasts
- Work with management and on-air staff to generate and write stories
- Develop content for digital platforms
Requirements
- Solid news judgment
- Compelling and accurate writer
- Able to multitask and manage time to put together an exciting and informative newscast
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to execute news strategies and goals in daily newscasts and on digital platforms
- Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a must
- Proficient with non-linear editing (i.e. Adobe Premiere) and newsroom systems
- Previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station preferred, although the right entry-level candidate may be considered
- A journalism degree is preferred
