About the Role
This role owns the foundational positioning and story for Claude's core knowledge-work products, aiming to close the gap between potential users and AI collaborators. You will be responsible for website content, pitch decks, battlecards, and persona narratives, equipping buyers and showing users how to leverage AI effectively.
Responsibilities
- Define the story that gets millions of people to change how they work.
- Own and evolve the positioning and messaging house for Chat, Cowork, and Claude's core knowledge-work products.
- Build and maintain sales enablement assets, including pitch decks, battlecards, and objection handling.
- Own the proof points, comparisons, and narratives to help economic buyers and champions justify purchase and adoption.
- Develop ICP and persona frameworks to drive messaging and campaigns.
- Own website and product page messaging.
- Build libraries of top use cases by product and by function or persona.
- Partner closely with GTM, Marketing, and Partners to ensure consistent messaging.
- Build AI-native systems using Claude and beyond-chat workflows to keep PMM foundations current.
- Contribute to plans, pricing, and analyst relations materials for the core knowledge-work portfolio.
Requirements
- Proven experience owning positioning and messaging for an established software product used broadly across personas and use cases.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and complexity across formats.
- Experience building ICP and persona frameworks and translating research into scalable messaging.
- Experience building sales enablement assets and working directly with sales teams.
- Comfortable operating autonomously as an IC, writing and shipping assets directly.
- Demonstrate systems thinking, and the ability to move fast and with conviction.
- Well-versed in using AI, specifically Claude, to inform and automate product marketing workflows.
- Experience marketing AI or productivity software to a broad, cross-functional buyer base.
- Experience with analyst relations processes and reports (e.g., Gartner, Forrester).
- Familiarity with plans and pricing presentation and packaging communication.
- Experience as a Senior PMM or PMM Lead at a productivity, collaboration, or knowledge-work software company with ownership of core-product positioning.
