About the Role

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and test software applications or operating systems. Apply knowledge of software architecture to perform development tasks, build enhancements, and suggest improvements. May telecommute.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software.
Apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture.

Requirements

Demonstrated strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices.
Demonstrated ability to write code in Java, or similar OO languages.
Demonstrated ability architecting and building large scale cloud services.
Experience with web application development using microservices frameworks.
Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies: Kubernetes and Docker.
Demonstrated ability to influence full system architecture.
Experience with identity and security technologies like OAuth2, OIDC or SAML.
Developing and shipping enterprise distributed or cloud native systems.
Experience with CI/CD technologies: Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.
Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes.
