About the Role
Toy Joy is seeking a Sales Supervisor to maintain the store's vibe and flow in the absence of management, provide excellent customer service, and uphold safety standards. This role involves opening and closing the store, delegating tasks, and handling conflicts.
Responsibilities
- Communicates well with managers to set goals and tasks.
- Delegates tasks clearly and respectfully to co-workers.
- Maintains the vibe and flow of the store in the absence of management.
- Opens and closes the store in accordance with standards set by the company.
- Handles conflict in the moment when appropriate and brings it directly to management.
- Provide excellent customer service to all that walk in, greeting each person individually to make them feel welcome.
- Maintain safety standards and health codes and keep walkways clear.
- Have fun and be joyful!
Requirements
- Sales experience in a retail or food service environment.
- Keyholding/Supervisory experience
- Love and knowledge of toys, books, games, collectibles and candy.
- Artistic skills, merchandising and creativity.
- Possess a cheery and positive disposition.
- Work and communicate well with all staff.
- Uphold respect for yourself, fellow co-workers and customers.
- Be able to lift and maneuver fixtures and product as necessary and spend majority of 8 hour shift on your feet.
