About the Role
Morning Brew is seeking an energetic, proactive, and highly organized Sr Associate to join our Talent Acquisition and People Ops team. This role supports a smooth, equitable, and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring and onboarding process, maintaining recruiting operations efficiency and consistency, and contributing to Morning Brew's employer brand.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Own full-cycle recruiting for junior-to-senior full-time positions and contract roles.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and management for our internship program.
- Manage a high volume of interview scheduling and oversee logistics.
- Utilize various diversity job platforms to post job descriptions and source candidates.
- Ensure in-person interview days are seamless, including greeting candidates, prepping rooms, and supporting onsite logistics.
- Coordinate employee onboarding with departments, ensure paperwork return, schedule orientation, and partner with cross-functional teams.
- Assist with planning and logistics for recruiting and DEI events.
- Help maintain employee updates in systems.
- Champion our work culture and help set the tone for the employee experience.
- Find opportunities to streamline processes, create efficiencies, and improve team productivity.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
- A deep appreciation for people, culture, and values.
- Ability to work four days per week in our New York City office.
