About the Role
The Organizational Development Consultant (ODC) executes, implements, coordinates, and delivers field initiatives to strengthen leadership capacity, aid talent development, support succession planning, and implement the performance management framework across various business units. This role designs, delivers, and improves training programs to build capacity, partnering with leaders to enhance onboarding, leadership effectiveness, and career growth, ultimately improving employee engagement, reducing turnover, and driving business performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct organizational assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement organizational development strategies and initiatives
- Facilitate change management processes and provide support during transitions
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies
- Collaborate with leadership teams to align organizational goals with business strategies
- Analyze and optimize business processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Support the development of leadership and talent management programs
- Monitor the progress of development initiatives and make adjustments as necessary
- Conduct employee engagement surveys and analyze the results to inform decisions
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff and leadership
- Create and implement performance management systems
- Lead structured Team Member Orientation and Onboarding programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field- OR equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in organizational development or a related role
- Experience with project management and change management methodologies
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of successful organizational change initiatives
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and relevant software
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to the client base
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with stakeholder management and client relations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of adaptability and willingness to learn
- Proven experience in facilitating workshops and training sessions
- Familiarity with performance management systems and tools
- Understanding of business process improvement techniques
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate Team Members' scheduling
- Valid Texas driver's license, current liability insurance, reliable transportation, and approved driving record
- Bilingual preferred
- Previous experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, Talent Management, or Talent Development professional
- Knowledge of change management methodologies, leadership development, employee engagement, and succession planning
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
