About the Role
As the Associate Director, Product Management within AIM XR, you will lead and mentor across the AIM product team, owning a portfolio of initiatives that keep AIM XR one of the most differentiated and revenue-driving products in the market. You will build the operating rhythm, team capability, and accountability that allow the group to move quickly and deliver measurable value. Your focus will be on portfolio orchestration, people leadership, and outcome accountability, ensuring the AIM team delivers integrated, scalable, and commercially valuable products across IQVIA and IQVIA Digital.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of AIM initiatives spanning identity, insights, data accessibility, and enterprise scale, ensuring each workstream advances the product’s growth and differentiation.
- Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to sequence and prioritize work across squads, balancing near-term delivery against long-term evolution.
- Represent AIM in cross-functional and executive discussions, articulating direction, trade-offs, progress, and investment needs to senior leadership.
- Simplify workflows, automate processes, and standardize delivery practices to help the team scale.
- Coach and mentor Product Managers and Product Owners, building capability in modern, AI-enabled product practices: intent definition, validation, orchestration, and governance.
- Foster autonomy and accountability, driving work to a high bar of completion before escalation.
- Contribute to hiring, role definition, and team-structure decisions that strengthen the organization and close capability gaps.
- Coach Product Managers and Owners in AI-assisted discovery, rapid prototyping, and validation, raising the bar on speed-to-insight while preserving quality.
- Guide teams in maintaining authenticated HCP identity resolution and next-generation, contextualized insights that reveal behavioral patterns.
- Champion the modernization of data pipelines and delivery infrastructure and the application of GenAI and automation to accelerate insight generation.
- Establish clear data governance, access rules, and documentation standards in partnership with the data management organization, instilling a product-led culture of knowledge management that protects scale as the team grows.
- Align product teams around unified goals and foster collaboration among Product Managers, Product Owners, engineering, and data management.
- Build partnerships across the broader enterprise to make AIM a strategic asset used widely across the organization.
- Build and defend business cases and investment (including CAPEX) for portfolio initiatives, owning a portfolio-level view of cost-to-value.
- Ensure sensitive HCP data is handled to consent, privacy, and regulatory standards across the portfolio.
- Support revenue growth and adoption, owning the success-metrics and instrumentation framework that connects product decisions to measurable commercial outcomes with our sales team and digital partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years in Product Management, including experience leading multiple workstreams or a portfolio, ideally in data, identity or healthcare/HCP-focused products.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop product managers and owners, and to influence without direct authority across cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of data-driven products, identity resolution, data governance, and analytics; familiarity with SQL, data structures, and modern cloud/data platforms.
- Experience with modern insight generation: contextualized data and applying GenAI and automation within products.
- Demonstrated ability to introduce AI-assisted product practices to a team and establish standards, tooling, and governance for their use.
- Track record connecting product decisions to go-to-market execution and revenue outcomes for data or insights products, with awareness of privacy and regulatory considerations for sensitive data.
- Able to represent direction to executive audiences and tailor messaging across engineering, commercial, and leadership; drives decisions through ambiguity.
- Deep experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and tools such as Jira and Confluence; SAFe or equivalent scaling experience preferred.
