About the Role

The Marketing Associate plays a key role in supporting the marketing team by managing advisor requests and assisting with the development, implementation, and execution of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and scale advisor marketing request management through structured intake processes, workflow automation, and digital tools.
  • Design and manage ticketing systems to streamline advisor requests, automate routing, and improve efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary contact for advisor marketing requests, including ads, brochures, newsletters, websites, social media, and event materials.
  • Monitor and manage the advisor marketing mailbox, reviewing requests, identifying SMEs, and initiating projects in the project management tool.
  • Manage incoming advisor requests through effective communication, expectation management, and timeline coordination with internal SMEs.
  • Oversee request approvals with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project management documentation, updates, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
  • Assist in establishing, implementing, and reviewing department procedures for efficiency.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand needs and tailor marketing strategies.
  • Assist in planning, creating, and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Help manage the production of marketing materials, including graphics, brochures, and presentations.
  • Coordinate marketing activities to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and projects.
  • Support the creation of engaging content for websites, blogs, email newsletters, and social media.
  • Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing marketing campaign performance data.
  • Provide regular reports on marketing activities and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing.
  • Experience within the financial services or advisor marketing space is an asset.
  • Experience with project management tools (Monday.com).
  • Experience with workflow automation tools, digital workflow design, and process optimization.
  • Knowledge of various marketing platforms and tools including CMS, SEO, SEM, digital advertising platforms, email marketing and lead nurturing platforms, social media management and analytics, content creation and creative design tools, customer journey mapping, and marketing attribution.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Adobe Pro).
  • Demonstrate a high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation.
