About the Role
The Business Operations Analyst will play a key role in driving forecast accuracy and customer & operational insights into S&OP and Demand Planning processes. This role serves as a key business partner between BU Operations, Product Management, Global Operations, and Sales, requiring an individual to leverage data, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to improve forecast accuracy, balance supply and demand, identify business risks and opportunities, and support executive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management, Global Operations, BU Operations & Business Management, Demand & Supply Chain, and Sales to support the monthly S&OP process
- Develop a deep understanding of business strategies, processes, and operations through a data-driven perspective
- Analyze demand, bookings, backlog, inventory, supply constraints, and fulfillment performance to identify risks and opportunities
- Gather and communicate insights to drive positive business impact
- Monitor demand signals, supply risks, and customer escalations, providing timely visibility and recommendations to executive leadership
- Document business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process enhancements to increase organizational efficiency
- Support monthly planning cycles, including forecasting, demand planning, and operational reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with over 5 years of related experience
- High degree of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to use data-driven insights to evaluate risks, opportunities, and business performance
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and an ability to influence
- Experience working with large data sets and multiple business systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Business acumen and analytical capabilities; ability to use data-driven insights to make decisions and evaluate risks and opportunities
- Experience with data management and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Salesforce Analytics is a plus
- Experience supporting S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes and/or experience working within Kinaxis Demand & Supply Tool (Maestro)
