About the Role
As a Software Engineer II at Honeywell, you will design, develop, and maintain software applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely project completion. You will impact innovative solutions driving efficiency and productivity, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that support business objectives and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and systems to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, quality assurance, and operations to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve software defects, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle.
- 3 years in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, with experience in developing scalable and maintainable software solutions and Core cloud (Azure, GCP, Alibaba), Kubernetes, Ansible, Python, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, CICD skills.
- 2 years' experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices.
