About the Role
As an Advanced Software Engineer at Honeywell, you will design, develop, and implement sophisticated software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency across global operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, high-quality software that meets complex business needs and supports Honeywell’s commitment to technological excellence. You will report directly to our Sr. Software Engineer Manager and work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule. Your work will impact the advancement of Honeywell’s software capabilities by delivering robust and innovative solutions that enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced software applications and systems aligned with business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions and ensure seamless functionality.
- Apply best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- 5+ years relevant experience in software development with a strong track record of delivering complex software projects.
- 3 years in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python, with the ability to develop scalable and maintainable code.
- 3 years' experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- 3 years of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices in software engineering.
