About the Role
Coatings Technicians inspect and repair coatings applied to different materials to maintain corrosion resistance, waterproofing, and surface protection. This role may require overnights and travel.
Responsibilities
- Assist in equipment/site setup and maintenance
- Lift and move objects up to 50lbs and participate in team lifts for objects over 50lbs
- Participate in short-term travel for projects
- Maintain work site safety and cleanliness
Requirements
- Willing/able to assist in equipment/site setup and maintenance
- Willing/able to lift and move objects up to 50lbs and take part in a team lift and move of objects greater than 50lbs
- Willing/able to partake short term travel for projects
- Basic understanding and skills in the use of hand and power tools
- Organized and assist in maintaining work site safety and cleanliness
- Valid driver’s license for at least 1 year
- Ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle
- Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push and/or pull, twist and make repetitive hand movements
- Ability to load, carry, lift, push and/or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Sitting or standing for prolonged periods required
- Effective communication skills and ability to speak clearly with team members
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Ability to act with integrity and respect of personal and public property
- Ability to work in all types of weather
