About the Role

Canon USA, a leader in technology, solutions, and services, is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences and efficiency through routine maintenance of Canon-supported products. This onsite role covers two hospitals in the Brooklyn/Queens areas.

Responsibilities

  • Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with supporting documentation to management.
  • Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and assigned Canon property.
  • Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
  • Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
  • Achieve branch/district overall metric targets through high performance.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Basic understanding of internet environments.
  • Ability to successfully complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF new-hire class.
  • Ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
  • Must obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter customer premises.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must reside in the United States at the time of hire.
