About the Role
As a Discipline Lead for Indigenous Rights and Consultation, you will shape the future of the discipline by setting the direction for technical excellence, quality, innovation, and efficient service delivery. You will be accountable for strengthening the discipline, building high-performing teams, establishing leading practices, and improving service delivery for clients.
Responsibilities
- Set the direction for technical excellence, quality, innovation, and efficient service delivery within the Indigenous Rights and Consultation discipline.
- Build and maintain high-performing teams by identifying resource and skill needs, recruiting talent, and positioning individuals for key projects.
- Foster a culture of innovation, promoting the development and implementation of new technologies and solutions.
- Support the growth and development of Team Managers.
- Promote knowledge sharing and teamwork among team members and across disciplines.
- Partner with Project Managers and Business Units to improve project structure, staffing, and delivery, enhancing quality, efficiency, profitability, and client experience.
- Maintain a strong industry presence and recognition for the discipline.
- Proactively identify and manage health & safety risks related to service delivery.
- Meet or exceed financial targets for the discipline while ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Lead the development and implementation of operational standards, best practices, and quality control processes.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies relevant to the discipline for adoption and integration.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks impacting service delivery.
- Ensure high technical quality standards are maintained and embedded in team workflows.
- Solicit and action client and Project Manager feedback to improve service delivery.
- Make sound business decisions regarding organic growth opportunities and investment in people and capabilities.

- Partner effectively with Project Managers, Business Units, and clients to improve delivery and the overall client experience.
- Consistently achieve performance targets and contribute to practice success.
- Take ownership of discipline performance, balancing quality, client outcomes, people development, and profitability.
