About the Role
As a Warehouse Colleague, you will ensure the logistics of the store are up to date by unloading, stocking, and retrieving merchandise in the backroom. You will also provide fast and friendly customer service, maintain product presentation, and assist with sales floor and cash team support.
Responsibilities
- Unload, stock, and retrieve merchandise in the backroom.
- Assist in all areas of the store, including supporting sales floor and cash teams.
- Follow safe work practices in the warehouse.
- Provide fast and friendly customer service.
- Inform customers about new sales and promotions.
- Maintain product presentation on the floor.
- Replenish stock.
- Assist with flyer products and pricing changes.
- Scan items and process payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Operate pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
- Make decisions related to shipping and receiving that support company guidelines.
- Work independently and seek assistance as required.
- Mobility including walking, standing, climbing, bending.
- Manual material handling including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying.
- Movement of product by use of ladders and stock pickers.
Requirements
- Ability to operate pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
- First Class Customer Service Skills.
- Ability to make decisions related to all aspects of shipping and receiving that supports company guidelines.
- Comfortable working independently and seeking out assistance as required.
- 1+ Year of retail experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Mobility (walking, standing, climbing, bending, etc.).
- Manual material handling (lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, etc.).
- Movement of product by use of ladders and stock pickers is required.
