About the Role
Valet Park of America is seeking early risers for Full or Part-Time Valet Parking Attendant positions in the Binghamton, NY Area. This role involves greeting and assisting customers, parking their vehicles, and representing the establishment. Attendants will also assist operations at Tioga Downs and work private events.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers
- Park customer vehicles
- Act as a visible representative of the establishment
- Run back to the station after parking a vehicle to assist the next patron
- Assist operations at Tioga Downs
- Work private events
Requirements
- Must be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle (training can be arranged)
- Must have own transportation
- Must have experience working in customer service
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must possess a valid Class D license held for at least one year
- Must have an approved driving record
- Must maintain a good driving record throughout employment
- Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours a day
- Must be able to run up to 50 times a day or more
- Must be able to enter and exit customers' vehicles 75 or more times daily
- Must be able to lift wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc.
- Must communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Must undergo a criminal records check
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays when necessary
- Must have a neat appearance and a good attitude
- Must complete a 30-day trial period
- Must complete four training shifts (higher pay rate, no tips during training)
