About the Role
Klaviyo's infrastructure is the foundation that every product, every customer, and every engineer depends on. In this role, you will be the connective tissue between our Infrastructure organization and the rest of engineering, driving the rollout of critical, cross-cutting programs that affect how we build, operate, and secure our platform at scale. You will juggle a high volume of parallel efforts across cloud infrastructure, FinOps, build systems, software migrations, security operations, and more, keeping each moving, supporting teams to be successful, and escalating quickly when capacity or priority decisions need to be made. This is a role for someone who drives.
Responsibilities
- Own the rollout of infrastructure initiatives across engineering, driving programs from planning through completion and coordinating across teams.
- Manage a high volume of concurrent efforts, tracking security operations improvements, FinOps initiatives, build system changes, software migrations, and other cross-cutting infrastructure programs simultaneously.
- Hold teams accountable and escalate when needed, building relationships and creating visibility to keep infrastructure work from being deprioritized.
- Develop a way to provide continuous program health reporting, establishing clear, actionable reporting on the status of all infrastructure rollouts.
- Partner with Infrastructure leadership on planning and prioritization, working closely with engineering and SRE leadership to build and maintain a rolling roadmap.
- Define clear ways of working across teams by creating frameworks, templates, and coordination models.
- Develop deep technical fluency in the programs owned to understand technical risks and identify blockers early.
- Drive automation and operational excellence by challenging manual processes and partnering with infrastructure teams to identify opportunities to centralize and automate change.
Requirements
- Technically fluent with infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering teams, understanding security operations, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and software migrations.
- A driver who moves work forward, follows up, pushes back, escalates, and holds people accountable constructively and consistently.
- Influential and relationship-driven, building strong relationships across engineering teams to create alignment.
- AI-first in how you work, using AI daily to move faster, work smarter, and do more with less.
- Comfortable with high volume and ambiguity, managing many parallel workstreams without losing track.
- Clear and direct communicator, tailoring messages by audience.
- Outcome-oriented, measuring success by realizing impact and improvements.
