About the Role
GROPYUS is a technology-based construction company focused on building multi-story residential buildings using timber construction methods. This role involves fire safety design and product development for timber buildings, contributing to the company's mission of creating aspirational, sustainable, and affordable homes.
Responsibilities
- Fire Safety Design and Product Development for timber buildings in building class 4 and 5
- Implementation of state-of-the-art solutions in our residential Building Product
- Constant and controlled evolution of the Product within the Series- and Change Management
- Coordination with design disciplines like Architecture, Engineering, MEP, Building Physics, Acoustics, and Energy Design
- Contribute to the improvement of short-term and long-term certification strategies of our building product
- Design and coordinate physical tests in the GROPYUS prototyping center at our factory and with external testing institutes
- Communication with external consultants, authorities, and institutes
- Contribute to the public discourse over the advancement of fire safety regulations in Germany through various involvements of GROPYUS
Requirements
- Experience in the construction industry and project experience in LP5+ project stage in Germany and/or Austria
- Proficiency in relevant German and/or Austrian regulations and codes
- Experience in developing fire safety strategies
- Fluent German skills
