About the Role
Develop and implement advanced fire protection solutions for timber buildings in construction classes 4 and 5, coordinating with various planning disciplines and contributing to certification strategies. This role involves designing and coordinating physical tests, communicating with external stakeholders, and influencing fire protection regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop fire protection plans and products for timber buildings in construction classes 4 and 5.
- Implement state-of-the-art solutions into our residential building product.
- Continuously develop the product through series and change management.
- Coordinate with planning disciplines including architecture, engineering, MEP, building physics, acoustics, and energy planning.
- Contribute to improving short- and long-term certification strategies for our building product.
- Design and coordinate physical tests at the GROPYUS prototyping center and with external test institutes.
- Communicate with external consultants, authorities, and institutes.
- Participate in the further development of fire protection regulations in Germany through various GROPYUS engagements.
Requirements
- Experience in the construction industry and project experience in the LP5+ project phase in Germany and/or Austria.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and legal texts in Germany and/or Austria.
- Experience in creating fire protection concepts.
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
