About the Role
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Millennium Tower, ensuring seamless delivery of luxury services to residents. This role requires a strong background in luxury hotel or hotel residences, with a particular focus on rooms division operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the property's operations, including front desk, concierge, housekeeping, and engineering.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure a consistently high level of guest satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
- Develop and manage operational budgets.
- Oversee vendor relationships and contracts to optimize costs and service quality.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee renovation and improvement projects.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury hotel or hotel residence operations, with a focus on Rooms Division.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Forbes 4-5 star hospitality background/experience with strong background from luxury hotel or hotel residences experience from a Forbes 4-Star or 5-Star hotel/resort maintaining Forbes standards, and service level delivery.
- Forbes service training and experience maintaining Forbes standards.
- Strong Rooms Division, Front Office, Resident Services, or Hotel Operations leadership experience.
- Experience maintaining Forbes service standards and luxury guest experience programs.
- Proven success leading large teams in high-touch luxury service environments.
- Proficiency in Buildinglink, ADP, MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Proven success managing large or complex residential communities, ideally high-rise, luxury, or hospitality environments.
- Strong financial management skills with experience overseeing large budgets ($7M+).
- Extensive experience coordinating complex capital projects, repairs, and long-term planning.
- Background in HOA litigation, construction defects, and legal processes affecting common interest communities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, influence, and build lasting relationships.
- Professional presence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with boards and stakeholders.
- Minimum of a CMCA.
- PCAM preferred.
- M100 and CMCA certificates are desired
