About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend / Microservices Engineer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications built using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, event-driven architecture, and AWS.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications.
- Build scalable backend services.
- Develop REST APIs.
- Implement Kafka-based event processing.
- Create batch applications.
- Develop document/file processing solutions.
- Integrate with cloud services.
- Generate and process PDFs using libraries like iText or PDFBox.
- Handle large-volume document and file processing.
Requirements
- Overall 10 years of experience required.
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on Java backend development experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or another enterprise messaging/event-streaming platform.
- Experience developing and supporting production-grade enterprise applications.
- Experience working with healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other enterprise applications involving sensitive data is preferred.
