About the Role
Bowman and Brooke LLP is a national product liability boutique law firm seeking a Trial Ready Litigation Paralegal to join their team in either Austin or Plano, TX. Paralegals are vital members of case teams, respected for their ideas and contributions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, and proofread a variety of documents, including correspondence, agreements, and pleadings.
- Collaborate with attorneys to advance litigation, proactively updating team members on case status and alerting attorneys to client and case needs.
- Assist attorneys with discovery processes, including requests, depositions, and issuing subpoenas.
- Support document review and analysis utilizing various platforms.
- Manage electronic case files using a document management system (iManage) for organization and accessibility.
- Prepare for trial by compiling materials, coordinating witnesses, issuing subpoenas, managing exhibits, and attending trial.
- Gather and analyze complex medical records to prepare medical chronologies.
