About the Role

Responsibilities
- Own your project, checking in with team members for questions and updates.
- Leave code in a better state through progressive refactoring.
- Ensure code reliability through unit, integration, and load testing.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and distribute knowledge.
- Engage in continuous integration and deployment.
- Improve the lives of Lyft drivers and passengers through your work.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science with a graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
- For master's students with prior full-time work experience between degrees, have less than 2 years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Available for a Summer 2027 internship in San Francisco.
- Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals.
- Understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for community, sustainability, and/or transportation.
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment.
- Experience with real-time technology problems.
- Contributions to open source projects.
- Experience working with databases.
- Experience with mobile development.
