About the Role

As a Project Manager for open-space PV mounting systems, you will technically manage and oversee customer projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial inquiry and quotation to implementation and technical acceptance.

Responsibilities

Technically manage and oversee customer projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
Review project inquiries for technical feasibility.
Develop suitable mounting system solutions.
Support sales in technical qualification and quotation preparation.
Evaluate project-specific conditions such as occupancy plans, geodata, and soil reports.
Determine material quantities.
Ensure the technical completeness of project documentation.
Create, edit, and review CAD drawings and technical planning documents.
Implement project-specific requirements graphically.
Coordinate internal departments including Engineering, Structural Analysis, Drawing Office, Purchasing, Production, and Logistics after order confirmation.
Manage the technical processing of the project.
Review technical project documents for plausibility and consistency.
Be responsible for the technical release of project documents.
Serve as the central point of contact for technical questions throughout the project duration.
Conduct project meetings.
Accompany project acceptances.
Ensure technical project documentation.

Requirements

Completed technical degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering) or comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in technical support and management of customer projects.
Proficient in CAD systems.
Experience in creating technical quotations or project calculations.
Ideally, experience in photovoltaics or open-space PV.
Very good technical understanding of steel and aluminum constructions, as well as topics like occupancy planning, geotechnical engineering, and load assumptions.
Strong customer and solution orientation.
Structured and self-reliant way of working.
High level of commitment.
Proficient German and English language skills.
Willingness to travel to customer projects.
