About the Role
Corpay is hiring a Portfolio Manager in London, Paddington to build a portfolio of high-value private capital market clients through business development and prospecting. You will report to the Private Markets Strategist and collaborate with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Researching and qualifying potential clients to build a database of leads
- Engaging and consulting with C-level executives of medium to large businesses
- Sourcing and initiating new sales opportunities
- Learning clients’ businesses and uncovering key problems and challenges
- Educating clients on Corpay solutions and value proposition
- Collaborating with analysts and strategists to build risk management solutions
- Developing trusted relationships with existing portfolio clients
- Retaining and growing portfolio revenue opportunities
- Managing business development and account management activities
- Learning to independently execute market transactions for clients
Requirements
- Experience in business development, sales, account management, financial services or related environment preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision makers
- Urgency and ability to take feedback onboard quickly
- Ambition and motivation to develop professionally
- Humility and high emotional intelligence
