About the Role
Join a family-run nursery group with a strong reputation for warm, high-quality early years care. This role is at a brand new nursery opening in January 2027, offering a chance to guide children through their early learning journey within a passionate, growing company. The nursery features a blended curriculum (Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired), extensive outdoor spaces, and significant investment in staff development.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, hands-on EYFS activities and track children's progress.
- Guide your team, acting as a role model for assistants and apprentices.
- Support colleagues to develop best practice.
- Build trusting relationships with parents and carers.
- Work closely with leadership to maintain high standards.
Requirements
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years.
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
- Experience in a senior practitioner or room leader role is ideal.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and health & safety.
- Genuine passion for early years education.
