About the Role
WIHD's Speech & Hearing Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Audiologist to join their highly respected team serving infants, children, and adults. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, utilize advanced diagnostic technologies, and collaborate with leading healthcare partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide the full scope of audiology services.
- Work with a diverse patient population.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic technologies.
- Collaborate with healthcare partners.
- Supervise graduate students (may be necessary).
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- NY State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Audiologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of audiological diagnostic procedures, assessment techniques, and treatment options.
- Proficient in using sophisticated audiological equipment and specialized software for testing and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
